North Dakota Early Childhood Council

The North Dakota Early Childhood Council reviews the availability and provision of early childhood education services in the state, identifies opportunities for public and private sector collaboration, and identifies ways to assist with the recruitment and retention of individuals interested in working as early childhood education services providers. Under Section 50-11.1-25, the council consists of 23 members, four of which are the Chairmen of the Senate and House Education and Human Services Committees, or their designees. The council must meet at least twice a year, and a member may not serve more than two consecutive terms.
