House Bill No. 1106 (2019) created the Reinsurance Association of North Dakota. The Reinsurance Association of North Dakota Board of Directors is responsible for formulating policies for the association, and includes one member of the Senate appointed by the Senate Majority Leader and one member of the House of Representatives appointed by the Speaker of the House.
